Biomass pellet come from many kinds of biomass raw materials making by pellet machine. Why don’t we immediately burn biomass raw materials?

As we know, igniting a piece of wood or branch is not a simple job. Biomass pellet is easier to burn completely so that it hardly produces harmful gases( like carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide）and smoke when pellet burns. Biomass raw material have irregular moisture content as well, they are processed into biomass powder with 10-15% moisture, then biomass powder is shaped into small cylinder with diameter 6-10mm, that is pellet.

Compared with biomass raw materials, biomass pellet is not only more flammable, but also has regular shape so that it is easier to store pellets and more convenient to put pellet into boilers or stoves.

Besides as clean biofuel, pellets also can be cat litter, horse bedding…
